Screenings and Treatment Information
STD screenings are available at all ten health departments daily during their normal business operating hours by appointment or as a walk-in service. Please click here to find your local health department and their contact information.
STD screening and same day treatment: $85.00 ( includes HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and trichomoniasis)
Additional treatment or treatment for contacts: $30.00
Additional screenings available at additional cost and certain requirements.
Treatment available for most STDs at your county health department.
Disease Report and Follow-up
All Georgia physicians, laboratories, and other health care providers are required by law to report certain identified diseases to the health department.

Free STD/HIV Test Kit by Mail
About the Program:
The South Central Health District is now offering free at-home STI test kits thanks to the partnership with the National Coalition of STD Directors.
What's Included?:
Each kit includes instructions, items needed for self-collection, and a prepaid UPS return label.
What's Detected?:
Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphillis, HIV (1, 2, P24 Antigen), and Trichomoniasis
Kits are mailed every Friday in plain, discreet packaging.
*You MUST register and use your kit by June 1, 2024!*
In order to sign up for this service, you must reside in one of the following counties: Bleckley, Dodge, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Pulaski, Telfair, Treutlen, Wheeler, and Wilcox.
