The Emergency Preparedness Office is tasked with the following capabilities:

Community Resilience thru various education efforts regarding Preparedness and Recovery

Countermeasures and Mitigation via Medical Material Management and Distribution, Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions, Responder Safety and Health, and Medical Countermeasure Dispensing

Surge Management via planning for Medical Surge, Mass Care, Fatality Management, and Volunteer Management

Information Management thru Emergency Public Information and Alerts as well as Information Sharing

Incident Management via training, coordination, cooperation with Emergency Management, the Medical Community, and First Responder Agencies
